The Little Yellow Trolley
Car is the true story of a little trolley
who brought passengers and freight from one small town to another between 1896
and 1927. The book has bold, colorful paper cut illustrations and uses engaging
sounds of the trolley's travels to describe her long ago life in operation,
sitting in a farmer's yard for sixty years, and the sounds of her restoration.
You can cheer with her crowd of passengers when at last she runs again!
The
book will particularly appeal to ages 2-8 and to the adults who read with those
young people!
