"America's Coolest Small Town" Contest

Dave Pillard made me aware that Phoenicia is up for the title of "America's Coolest Small Town" in Budget Travel Magazine. Let's all pull together and get Phoenicia the honor it deserves!! Here is what Dave had to say about it.

OK, so I am sure you are all waiting anxiously to learn the names of the winners in our pet photo contest. There was a 3 way tie in the 'Best Overall' pet category and a 2 way tie in the 'Funniest Category'. Velsani Antigues Donates Additional Prizes

Through the generosity of Velsani Antiques additional prizes have been added to the WCA pet contest. WCA members Gustovo Sanin and Ivan Velilla, owners of Velsani, have graciously donated $25.00 gift certificates for all the winners. Thank you Gustavo and Ivan for your kindness!!

Vote in the WCA Pet Photo Contest

Ok everyone, I have gotten all the photos up to the blog and now it is time to vote! It is going to be a really tough race!! All of the photos are great!!!

Please send your votes to wvview@gmail.com. Remember there are 4 DIFFERENT groups of photos. They arranged by category on the blog. All the photos have a number (some have titles but not everyone sent titles or pet names). Please email me the numbers of your favorite from each category. Remember to specify BOTH the category AND the number of the photo you wish to vote for in your email. Each person in your household is entitled to vote separately (kids too). If you have a photo in the contest you are allowed to vote for yourself. The deadline to vote is midnight May 1st. Winners will be announced on May 3rd and they will get their prizes soon after.
