Absentee Ballots

The upcoming election is an important one. There are many government seats to be filled beyond the hotly contested presidential race. Election time is one of the best opportunities in our system of government that we the people can make our voices heard. So if you are not going to be able to get to the polls on election day be sure to get yourself an absentee ballot. NY State does everything possible to make this an easy process. Just go to http://www.elections.ny.gov/VotingAbsentee.html
where you can download an absentee ballot application. October 30 is the last day you can postmark the absentee ballot application so please do it as soon as possible.

You can also apply in person for an absentee ballot application. Just go to the Ulster County Board of Elections office at 284 Wall Street, Kingston, NY 12401. You can apply in person until November 5th  if you are previously registered.

The phone number for the Ulster County Board of Elections is 845-334-5470.
