More Father's Day Poetry

Here is another Father's Day ditty.

A Father, (and Grandfather’s) Reflection on Father’s Day
Dakin Morehouse - 2010

Why anyone bothers
To celebrate Fathers
Is simply beyond comprehension.
We just enjoy mothers,
Forsaking all others,
Save the wee ones who need our attention.
But had we detected
Our day was neglected -
It would fill us with grave apprehension.
So thanks for just being,
Agreeing, and seeing,
Your existence is our own - life extension.
