The WCA train ride and party last Saturday night was a gigantic success. The weather was perfect and everyone had a lot of fun!! About 100 people came out to ride the CMRR and share some food at the station. My thanks goes out to Brave Emma for always, always working to help the association in any way necessary. Dakin Morehouse for setting up, cooking, cleaning up, giving us use of the ESRM, and thinking up the idea in the first place. Doris Morehouse for help setting up, cleaning up and helping to organize everyone. Harry Jameson, Earl Pardini and the Catskill Mountain Railroad for making it possible for us to charter the train in the first place. Mo and Mickey Winograd for buying and donating the chips, coffee (which I forgot to make) and fruit platter and for lending us the beautiful tablecloths. Julia Rose, John Raffaele & Maya for making and donating the green salad. Ann Healy for making and donating the lasagna. Elie Nielson for buying and donating the cookies. The train crew Kathy, Neil, Davy & Bob McDonald. (Thanks to Bob for bringing his grill too.) Tammy & Richard Feuer, Joyce Botchford and granddaughter and all the others who helped clean up. And last but not least, Tommy Healy for being food organizer extraordinaire!!! You are AMAZING! I could not have done it without your help!!! So, thanks everyone for making the event such a resounding success!!
