Menla Trail Blazing Weekend May 29 - June 1

Our wonderful neighbors at the Menla Center for Health and Happiness are having a trail restoration retreat this coming weekend. They wanted me to reach out to the community and let you all know that you are invited to join the fun. They will be cleaning and restoring the beautiful trails around the Menla property and sharing lunches, dinners and other activities together. The schedule for the events can be found by following the link.

Here is a message from our friend Chisti Dryden at Menla about the weekend.

Next weekend, Menla invites you to join an intrepid group of volunteers to restore the network of trails on their magical property nestled below Panther Mtn.  When the Pathwork Center owned the property there was an extensive network of trails and Menla's goal is to restore them for use of guests and neighbors.   Past years have been lots of fun with bonfires, communal meals and evening movies.   Local residents are welcome to participate in all meals and activities at no cost.
