Shop Locally for the Holidays!

Although we have made a lot of progress, our area is still recovering from the damage left by Hurricane Irene. One thing that each and every one of us can do during this holiday season to help our community is to shop locally. There are a lot of great stores in our town, please patronize them if you need a gift for that special someone. For those on your list who already have everything, you might consider a gift certificate to a local restaurant. There are also many craft fairs and open artist studios to buy one of a kind presents. Please, please be mindful of where you spend your dollars this year. Between the hurricane and the challenging economy the local businesses need all the support they can get!!
