Benefit Party For Sloop Clearwater

Three Kings Day House Party to benefit Hudson River Sloop Clearwater in Phoenicia on Friday, January 6, 2012

You are invited to join the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater community for a Three Kings Day house party on Friday, January 6, 2012 starting at 5:30 pm – midnight. The party will be held at the home of Alma Rodriguez at 30 Esopus Avenue, Phoenicia, NY 12464. Live music! Suggested donation $15 to Clearwater, but any donation is welcome, big or small. This is a community potluck and musical celebration so food, beverage and musical contributions are most welcome.

About Clearwater’s Green Cities Initiative Under the Directorship of Victor Pierre Melendez, the Green Cities Initiative works with under-served communities in waterfront cities to incorporate principles of sustainability. These programs serve to help to integrate watershed protection, green infrastructure practices, environmental justice, and climate justice into all phases of municipal and community planning. Alma Rodriguez serves as Board Chair of Clearwater’s Green Cities Initiative. All funding from this celebration will go towards this worthy project.

Directions to 30 Esopus Avenue, Phoenicia NY 12464 from Kingston Take the Rt. 28 West exit off the traffic circle and continue for about 20 miles. You will pass the main Phoenicia “Eagle” entrance on the right. Continue for another ½ mile and turn left onto Woodland Valley Road. After 150 feet make your first right onto Esopus Avenue. Continue 2 blocks to the white house with a white picket fence on the right. The house is on the corner of Esopus Avenue and West Street. You may park anywhere you don’t block a driveway.
