Paul Misko sent me this report on the Woodland Valley History night that was held at the Botchford home on July 26th. Here is what Paul had to say.
A good size group gathered for the Woodland Valley History talk, which was generously hosted by Hawley Botchford. History from the Ice Age to the more recent past was discussed, with a focus on the tanning industry which had such a great and lasting impact in the valley. Good food, history, and a few laughs made for a great evening. Another history event is on the way. A talk on the History of Lighting will be given on Saturday evening, August 17th. To register and get more details, contact Paul at woodvalleybear@gmail.com. Space is limited.
