Trout Stocking
I am a bit late with this post but the (fish) tale is still worth telling. On the Monday of Memorial Day Weekend, Troutmeister and Piscatorial Grand Pooh Bah, Mike O'Neil (aka Boreegard), led a enthusiastic group of volunteers in the stocking of the Woodland Valley Stream. As usual, the group met the truck at Roxmor, went up into the valley, and then headed back down the road stopping in various places to release the wriggling cargo. Only the hardy brown trout is released because of it's resilience to the heat of the sometimes lower summer waters. The event was a great success and all of the fish are (for now) free and living in the bucolic waters of our valley waiting to elude and torment the local fishermen.
Nice job Boreegard and fellow stockers!!
