Lark in the Park 2008

The 5th Annual Lark in the Park celebration will be held October 4-13 in the Catskill Park and surrounding communities. There are numerous outdoor activities during the Lark in the Park event. This year's lineup - featuring challenging hikes, interpretive walks and cycling events, as well as festivals and lectures - is a wonderful way for people to discover the wealth of history, culture, natural resources, and recreational opportunities offered by the Catskill Park and the entire Catskill Mountain Region. And, with only a few exceptions, it's all free. The 2008 celebration is co-sponsored by The Catskill Center for Conservation and Development and the Catskill Mountain Club.
